We’re so excited and happy to share Kirsten and Horst’s wedding with you; a real countryside wedding close to Halle (Saale) in Germany. Kirsten and Horst made us instantly feel like we’re part of their family (thank you!). A beautiful ceremony in Adendorf’s cute little church was followed by the traditional log-sawing. This symbolizes that by working together, they can accomplish difficult tasks and is to serve as a reminder when the couple faces challenges in the future. The fire brigade and the couple (with their kids Lilly and Jasper) led all the guests to the reception venue, the Eulenbergschen Hof in Elben. The wedding guests threw porcelain as a lucky charm for the couple (in German you call this ‘poltern’) and a fun entertainment program was performed. From Patrick Swayze to Karel Gott – it was hilarious. What a great party and experience. Throughout the day it was consistently obvious, how much Kirsten and Horst are loved by friends, family and the community. The real deal. Thanks for having us, this wedding will surely stay in our hearts!
